Amarillo League of Women Voters Green Infrastructure Working Group 

The Amarillo League of Women Voters Green Infrastructure Working Group is exploring nature-based solutions for water conservation, groundwater recharge, flood mitigation, and land restoration.

The group’s goal is to help regional water and flood planners secure more state funding for smaller nature-based projects, including rainwater and runoff collection, soil health, watershed improvements, and wetland restoration.
